earth hour

Turning off your lights for one hour is not going to stop global warming.  Earth Hour is often criticized for not making a real difference, or brings out the climate change deniers.  The fact is, Earth Hour has made a difference, and climate change is real.  4,000 cities in 88 countries participated, along with some of the biggest corporations.  I can’t prove to you that climate change is happening on this site; but if you truly believe it isn’t happening, I suggest taking Environmental Sciences as a General Education class at Humber College.  Otherwise, send us a message, and we’ll try and link you up with all the information we can so you can make an educated decision.

Humber College and HEAA has participated in Earth Hour since 2008.   2008, HEAA had a candle lit party.  2009, HEAA visited the Magic Oven for a candle lit dinner.  What should we do this year?
